Security group templates are provided to authorize users to access Work Centers and Tools
and Tasks. When you apply a security group template, members of the group are authorized to access
the default applications for the Work Center or Tool. If you want to modify the default
authorizations, you duplicate a security group template to create a user-defined
template.
Procedure
-
In the Security Groups application, create a new group and name it.
-
On the Sites tab, select Authorize Group for All
Sites? to enable the group to access all sites, or specify individual sites.

On the Applications tab, define a security group for a Work Center or
Tool:
-
In the Application Type column, filter for Tools and
Tasks.

Template window, click Apply Template to create a group based on

authorizations.
This authorization authenticates to the user interface for the Work Center or Tool.

access to.
This authorization is necessary if you want to enable access to data from external
applications.

members of the security group.
