Relating work orders or tickets to activities or to tasks

You can link work orders and tickets to an activity or task. When you link a record to a work order, its relationship type is RELATED.

Procedure

  1. In the Activities and Tasks application, display the record to which you want to add related records.
  2. On the Related Records tab, perform either of the following actions:
    • To relate a work order to the current record, in the Related Work Orders table window, click Add Row.
    • To relate a ticket to the current record, in the Related Tickets table window, click Add Row.
  3. Type or select a work order in the Work Order field, or specify a ticket in the Related Record Key field.
  4. Optional: You can enter a class.
  5. Save the activity.
