Manta Flow Open Manta Integration Export

Basic Overview

Open Manta Integration Export is an export format that any consumer can use to create a custom integration with IBM Automatic Data Lineage. The exported metadata are represented by using a public, vendor-independent metamodel that has been designed with a focus on ease-of-use of the metadata. The metamodel can represent:

• Hierarchies of dictionary objects (tables, views, synonyms, and files)
• Hierarchies of transformation objects (database transformations, data integrations, and analytical and reporting tool objects) including additional metadata
• Direct and indirect lineage information (in some cases simplified in comparison with the level of detail of the information available in a Manta Flow Visualization or Open Manta Standard Export)
• Hierarchies of model objects (logical entities, logical attributes, models, etc.) and MapsTo relations between models in the logical and conceptual layer or between model objects and physical layer objects
• ForeignKey relations between assets in the logical or physical layers from Erwin, ER/Studio and PowerDesigner.
