How to Get Log Files from the Collibra DGC Cloud Solution

For more detailed information about processes in Collibra, there are many logs that help troubleshoot certain issues or provide more information about certain activities (most notably the log files dgc.log and dgc_jobs.log).

To access the logs you need to go to Collibra Console, usually located in a separate domain:
https://console-<instance>.collibra.com/signin where <instance> stands for your Collibra instance (e.g., https://console-mantatools.collibra.com/signin).

Important: You might need separate administrator access rights, which could be different from the login and password you are currently using.

Once you are logged in to Collibra Console, the administration UI should be visible. Here you need to navigate to the tab Infrastucture (1), and then in the Environments (2) overview, select Data Governance Center (3) from the specified instance. Then on the right, select the Logs (4) tab to display all the log files. Here you can already see latest logs (without any timestamp) called dgc.log and dgc_jobs.log (5).

Select all the log files you want to download using the checkbox to the left of log file, and then press DOWNLOAD to download all the files into one archive.
