Integrating Azure AD with MaaS360

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is the multi-tenant cloud-based directory and identity management service from Microsoft. MaaS360® uses the Azure AD APIs to integrate with Azure AD and authenticate users and manage devices based on their Azure AD tenant.

The Azure AD integration with MaaS360 includes the following features:

User Authentication: MaaS360 authenticates users against Azure AD during the enrollment process.
User Visibility: MaaS360 can now import users, groups, and group memberships from Azure AD. Policies, apps, and content are distributed to groups based on groups in Azure AD.

Note: Make sure that you have at least one user in your Azure AD organization who is assigned the Global Administrator role. For more information about this role, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/roles/permissions-reference#global-administrator.
