Firewall
Use the Firewall settings to control the settings that are accessible in the Security Preferences page.
The following settings describe the settings that are required to control the firewall settings:
| Policy setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable Firewall | The firewall is enabled on the device. |
| Block all incoming connections | Blocks all incoming connections except connections that are required for basic internet services, such as DHCP, Bonjour, or IPsec. |
| Enable Stealth Mode | The firewall does not respond or acknowledge attempts to access your computer from the network by test applications that use ICMP, such as Ping. |
| Applications | The bundle ID of the applications. |
| Incoming Connection Allowed | The device receives incoming connections. |
| Allow signed | The firewall setting allows built-in software to accept incoming connections. |
| Allow signed app | The firewall setting allows downloaded signed software to accept incoming connections. |
