Configuring policy settings for an iOS device

You can configure specific settings in an iOS MDM policy for iOS devices.

Passcode
The Passcode settings enforce the use of a secure passcode to unlock an iOS device.
Restrictions
The Restrictions settings restrict specific features, network settings, developer options, and location detection policies on iOS devices. Enable Configure device restrictions to configure restrictions on device functions, applications, iCloud, and content.
Application Compliance
The Application Compliance settings check the compliance of an app on iOS devices.
ActiveSync
The ActiveSync settings allow iOS devices that are managed by MaaS360® to use a set of variables so that accounts do not have to be customized for each user. The MDM profile payload includes ActiveSync settings that are delivered to the native iOS mail agent.
Wifi
The Wifi settings provide connection parameters that enforce the use of the corporate wifi network on iOS devices.
VPN
The VPN settings provide settings for a Virtual Private Network (VPN) on an iOS device.
AirPrint
The AirPrint settings allow devices that are connected to the same network to print over-the-air (OTA) through a wifi network.
Accounts (Google)
The Google account settings that are configured on iOS devices.
Network Slicing
For iOS version 17 and later, the ability to assign specific network slices to managed apps on their provider’s 5G Standalone network is offered to organizations. This ability causes all traffic for a designated managed app to be routed to the slice identified by a specified data network name (DNN). The iOS Devices with iOS 18 and later have the ability for a designated managed app to be routed to the slice identified by an App Category.
