CardDAV
Use the CardDAV settings to create a CardDAV account on macOS devices.
CardDAV is an HTTP-based address book protocol for sharing contact information in the vCard
format. The following table describes the CardDAV settings:
| Policy setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Display Name of the CardDAV Account | The CardDAV account name that is displayed on the device. |
| Host Name of the CardDAV Account | The server address of the CardDAV account. |
| Host Port number of the CardDAV Account | The port number that connects to the CardDAV server. |
| CardDAV Account Username | The user's login name. Use %username% or %email% for the
user's corporate credentials. |
| CardDAV Account Password | The user's password. Use %password% for the user's corporate
credentials. |
| Use SSL to Communicate with CardDAV Servers | SSL is used to communicate with CardDAV servers. |
