CardDAV

Use the CardDAV settings to create a CardDAV account on macOS devices.

CardDAV is an HTTP-based address book protocol for sharing contact information in the vCard format. The following table describes the CardDAV settings:
Policy setting Description
Display Name of the CardDAV Account The CardDAV account name that is displayed on the device.
Host Name of the CardDAV Account The server address of the CardDAV account.
Host Port number of the CardDAV Account The port number that connects to the CardDAV server.
CardDAV Account Username The user's login name. Use %username% or %email% for the user's corporate credentials.
CardDAV Account Password The user's password. Use %password% for the user's corporate credentials.
Use SSL to Communicate with CardDAV Servers SSL is used to communicate with CardDAV servers.
