CalDAV

Use the CalDAV settings to configure CalDAV accounts on macOS devices.

CalDAV is an HTTP-based protocol for remotely accessing scheduling information. CalDAV uses the iCalendar format (not Apple iCal). The following table describes the CalDAV settings:
Policy setting Description
Display Name of the CalDAV Account The CalDAV account name that is displayed on the device.
Host Name of the CalDAV Account The server address of the CalDAV account.
Host Port number of the CalDAV Account The port number that connects to the CalDAV server.
Principal URL for the CalDAV Account The base URL for a user's calendar. If the user does not provide a password, auto-discovery of the service fails and the account is not created.
CalDAV Account Username The user's login name. Use %username% or %email% for the user's corporate credentials.
CalDAV Account Password The user's password. Use %password% for the user's corporate credentials.
