Basic Apps Inventory reports for MaaS360

Basic Apps Inventory reports for MaaS360® provide reporting data across managed and non-managed apps for devices that are enrolled in the MaaS360 customer account. Basic Apps Inventory reporting data includes overview and trend statistics for apps. App statistics are generated based on app usage and app performance.

The Basic Apps Inventory provides the following Overview and Trends reports:

  • Overview: Reports the number of managed and unmanaged apps that are installed on devices based on device platform, device ownership, device manufacturer type, and most installed apps.
  • Trends: Reports the trends for apps based on app installs and the top apps that are installed on devices.

The Basic Apps Inventory reports are almost near real-time reports of managed and non-managed apps on devices. Any changes in these apps on devices in the MaaS360 Portal are almost instantly reflected in the Basic Apps Inventory dashboard.

Subscription settings

Use the Subscription settings option to define the subscription settings for the Basic Apps Inventory reports. When you select this option, you are directed to the Administrator Settings > Analytics section where you can configure subscriptions settings. Basic Apps Inventory dashboards

The Basic Apps Inventory report includes chart data and table data for the apps that are installed on the mobile devices that are manged by MaaS360 customer account.

The chart data defines the Basic Apps Inventory reports in the form of graph.

The following types of chart data are available:

  • Bar chart
  • Pie chart
  • Line chart
  • Area chart

The table data provides app details such as the app name, the app ID, the number of app installs, the app type, and the device platform that the app is installed on. Click the Table icon (Reports table icon) to view table data. These details are displayed as column headers in the table data along with an option to apply filters to these columns. The table data and the chart data is displayed based on applied filters.

In the Basic Apps Inventory report, an option to export chart data and table data is available. For a report, the chart data is exported as a .png file and the table data is exported as .csv file.

For email subscriptions to the Basic Apps Inventory reports, chart data is included in the email message and table data is included as a .csv compressed file attachment that is emailed to the subscribed email addresses.
