Advanced Apps Inventory reports for MaaS360
Advanced Apps Inventory reports for MaaS360® provide reporting data across managed and unmanaged apps for devices that are enrolled in the MaaS360 customer account. Advanced Apps Inventory reporting data includes overview and trend statistics for apps. App statistics are generated based on app usage and app performance.
The Advanced Apps Inventory provides the following Overview and Trends reports:

- Overview
- Reports the number of managed and unmanaged apps that are installed on devices based on device platform, device ownership, and device manufacturer type.

- Usage Overview
- Reports app details for managed and unmanaged apps based on app usage such as most installed apps, the apps that are most used based on app session length. The report also depicts the apps that are most used by active users and most used apps that are based on the number of app sessions.

- Execution Overview
- Reports app details for managed and unmanaged apps based on app execution. The execution refers to the number of times that an app crashes, apps that have the most number of network requests, and apps that consume the most data.

- Usage Trends
- Reports trending apps based on app usage. The usage trends are illustrated by using various metrics, including the number of app installs, session length of app usage, and active users' most frequently used apps.
Note: These session reports are only available for applications that are wrapped in the MaaS360 . -
- Execution Trends
- Reports trending apps based on app execution. Execution trends are based on trends such as apps that crash the most, apps that consume the most data, apps by network requests, and trending apps.
The Advanced Apps Inventory reports are almost near real-time reports of managed and nonmanaged apps on devices. Any changes in these apps on devices in the MaaS360 Portal are almost instantly reflected in the Advanced Apps Inventory dashboard.
Advanced Apps Inventory dashboards
The Advanced Apps Inventory reports include chart data and table data for apps that are installed on mobile devices that are managed by the MaaS360 customer account.
The chart data defines the Advanced Apps Inventory reports in the form of a graph.
The following types of chart data are available:
- Bar chart
- Pie chart
- Line chart
- Area chart
- The Usage Trends report and the Execution Trends report only show the Bar, Line, and Area chart for better graphical representation of the data.
- The Usage Overview report and the Execution Overview report represent the top 10 app usage and execution overview report data that is based on device types instead of chart data representation.
The table data provides app details such as the app name, the app ID, the number of app installs,
the app type, and the device platform that the app is installed on. Click the
Table icon (
) to view table data. These details are displayed as column headers in the
table data along with an option to apply filters to these columns. The table data and the chart data
is displayed based on applied filters.
In the Advanced Apps Inventory report, an option to export chart data and table data is available. For a report, the chart data is exported as a .png file and the table data is exported as .csv file.
For email subscriptions to the Advanced Apps Inventory reports, chart data is included in an email message and table data is included as a .csv compressed file attachment that is emailed to the subscribed email addresses.
