Android 9.25 Release Notes

The Android app version 9.25 for IBM® MaaS360® is available on the Google Play Store on 6 February 2026.

Support for %directory_documents% path

IBM MaaS360 supports the %directory_documents% path constant on all Android OS versions. This update is applicable to both the Upload file custom command and the Distribute Docs workflow in the IBM MaaS360 Portal. The administrators can specify %directory_documents% (Distribute Docs > Save to Device) to save files directly to the Documents folder on the device. 021073701	The user reported that the MaaS360 app catalog crashed when they opened the bundle on Android OS version 16 QPR3 Beta 1.
021006196	The user reported that the embedded (inline) images did not render correctly. In Android version 9.20, the encryption algorithms were upgraded to stronger, more secure ciphers that caused embedded (inline) images to not render correctly, particularly in older emails that used previous encryption methods. With Android version 9.25, the core security component is updated to handle these scenarios proactively to ensure that this issue does not occur across the entire app.
019358392	Enhanced device log upload workflow with retry logic to handle intermittent AWS pre-signed URL API failures. The user reported that they were unable to collect the MaaS360 device logs and upload it to the Portal.
