Android 9.15 Release Notes

The Android app version 9.15 for IBM® MaaS360® is available on the Google Play Store on 5 November 2025.

Upload file custom command

IBM MaaS360 adds the capability to upload a file directly to a specified path on any device using a custom command action. For more information, see Android custom commands and Upload file custom command.

Updated app names in IBM MaaS360 App

IBM MaaS360 updates the platform and container app names to comply with IBM standards and to enhance the user experience. For more information, see https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7247662.

Enhancement to the App feedback functionality

From Android version 9.15 and later, the android agent collects the feedback for GMS devices. The customers who want the enabled app feedback must use this version or later. They can enable the app feedback in the Portal to use the feedback from the device. For more information, see Tracking managed app configuration feedback in the IBM MaaS360 Portal.

020249377	Users on Android OS 15 or later reported an issue in the MaaS360 Mail app where long text entries in the Mail Compose screen and Calendar Event description field were obscured by the on-screen keyboard. The app did not auto-scroll to keep the input field visible, resulting in a poor user experience during text entry.
020196585	In previous versions of the MaaS360 Android Agent, users experienced an issue where switching between policies did not properly clear outdated MaaS360 VPN profiles. As a result, multiple VPN profiles were displayed in the MaaS360 VPN app, including profiles that were no longer valid.
