The Android app version 8.90 for IBM® MaaS360® is available on the Google Play Store on 8 April 2025.

Ability to set device passcode through MDM Policy

IBM MaaS360 provides IT administrators the ability to set device passcode through the MDM Policy so that the same Passcode is set to multiple devices. When a new device is enrolled to IBM MaaS360, the device is automatically set with the admin-configured Passcodes. For more information, see Passcode.

Wi-Fi Restrictions on Android 13 and later

IBM MaaS360 supports new Wi-Fi restrictions on Android version 13 and later. These new policies provide IT administrators with enhanced control over Wi-Fi settings on Android 13 and later devices. It enables the administrators to disallow users from changing the Wi-Fi state, from sharing the admin-configured Wi-Fi, from using Wi-Fi Direct or Wi-Fi Tethering, and from adding new Wi-Fi configurations. Improved User Experience for Password Out of Compliance (OOC)

IBM® MaaS360® provides an improved experience for users handling the devices in Out-of-Compliance (OOC) due to an enforced Password Policy. The device displays a message and the password rules in the Configure Device Passcode screen.

Support for Android 15

IBM MaaS360 apps now support Android 15 to adopt the latest APIs.
