The Android app version 8.75 for IBM® MaaS360® is available on the Play Store on 6 November 2024.

Enhancement to the Kiosk UI for Optimal User Control

MaaS360 enhances the COSU Kiosk UI to customize the status bar for Kiosk enabled devices and set the font color on Kiosk launcher container. The customized UI feature gives user more control over the information that is displayed in the status bar of the device. Users can now selectively show or hide parameters such as email, username, Bluetooth status, and Wi-Fi connectivity by adjusting settings in the kiosk launcher. Enhancement to the data usage tracking for device at an application level

A new parameter is added to the Android MDM policy that significantly enhances data usage tracking on devices. When this parameter is enabled and applied to a device, it activates the tracking of comprehensive data usage logs. This feature generates an Excel report that gives a detailed data consumption for each app, including the amount of data used in megabytes. The purpose of this feature is to provide users with insights into app data usage, enabling them to identify which applications are consuming the most data. Optimized removal of all apps and accounts on sign-out from shared devices

With this release, the MaaS360 family of apps, MaaS360 Remote Control, and TeamViewer are not getting removed on sign-out from the shared devices. For more information, see Optimal removal of all apps and accounts on sign-out from shared devices.
