Configuring Mobile Threat Defense Advanced in Endpoint Security Policy

Information about enabling and publishing the Endpoint Security (EPS) Policy for IBM® MaaS360® Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) Advanced.

About this task

With IBM MaaS360, you can edit an existing EPS or create a new EPS and also enable the IBM MaaS360 Mobile Threat Defense Advanced attribute.

To create a new EPS, see Configuring endpoint security policies.

Procedure

  1. From the IBM MaaS360 Portal Home page, select Security > Policy Management > Policies.
  2. In the Policies window, select the existing EPS policy and click view.
  3. Go to the Mobile threat defense tab and click the Edit option.
  4. Select the Advanced protection checkbox and click Next.
  5. On the Assignments page, review the assignment summary, and click Next.
  6. On the Review Changes page, review the settings that are enabled or added, and click Publish.
  7. On the Publish policy pop-up window, click Confirm.

Results

The Endpoint Security Policy is published successfully.
