Monitoring the migration status of devices

You can view the migration status of the DTM devices to check whether the device is successfully migrated or failed.

About this task

Follow these steps to create a group of migrated devices to view the migrated devices status.

Procedure

  1. From the IBM® MaaS360® Portal home page, select Devices > Advanced Search.
  2. In the Search for field, select Active Devices.
  3. In the With Device Type(s) field, select Desktops and Laptops.
  4. In the Last Reported field, select All Records.
  5. In the Search Criteria field, select All Conditions (AND) and then select the following values.
    • For Condition 1: Software Installed > Application Name > Contains > IBM Endpoint Manager Action Agent
    • For Condition 2: Hardware Inventory > Platform Name > Equal To > Windows
    • For Condition 3: Hardware Inventory > Managed Status > Equal To > Activated
  6. Click Search to display a list of DTM devices that fulfills the conditions.
  7. Click Create New Device Group to display the Device Group Details window.
  8. Enter the Group Name and click Save.

Results

A group of migrated devices is created.

What to do next

To monitor the status of the migrated DTM device., select Devices > Groups from the IBM® MaaS360® Portal home page.

On the Groups page, you can see the newly created device group.
