Configuring the Microsoft Intune App Protection integration in the IBM MaaS360 Portal

Follow these steps to integrate Microsoft Intune App Protection in the IBM® MaaS360® Portal.

Before you begin

Make sure the Azure integration service is enabled in the IBM MaaS360 Portal. You must contact IBM Support to enable this service for your account.

Procedure

  1. From the IBM MaaS360 Portal Home page, select Setup > Services > Mobile Application Management, and then select the Intune App Protection check box.
  2. Enter the Tenant ID for an Azure account that is enabled with an Intune license, and click Authorize.
    Note: The Azure Tenant must be enabled with an Intune license. For more information about how to enable an Intune license for an Azure Tenant, see the Microsoft help article Assign licenses to users so they can enroll devices in Intune at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/fundamentals/licenses-assign.

  3. You are prompted to sign in to the Microsoft Azure Portal. Select a Microsoft account, and click Next.
  4. Enter the password, and click Next.
  5. Accept the terms and conditions.
    If authentication is successful, the following message is displayed: Registration is successful. Window will automatically close in 5 seconds.
  6. You are redirected to the IBM MaaS360 Portal where you will configure Intune App Protection policies.
    Note: After you authorize access to Azure services, you cannot edit the Azure Tenant ID.
  7. Click Re-authorize Now to complete the Intune Mobile Application Management (MAM) integration in the IBM MaaS360 Portal.
