Security index metrics
The Security index metrics provide statistics that define both the overall and the individual security statistics for an organization.
Viewing a generated report
The Security index generated report shows the percentage of overall and individual security settings (data, device, app, and network) that are enabled in the security policies. This report also shows the number of devices in the MaaS360® Community and in the My Devices community that use these policies.
To view a Security index report, choose one of the following communities:
- MaaS360® Community
- My Devices community

In the following example, the Security index metrics provide statistics on
an organization in the Manufacturing industry that includes both a small and a large deployment of
devices:
In the MaaS360 Community, the following statistics apply:
- 69% of the devices used policies that are enabled with data, device, app, and network security settings that enforced overall security.
- 72% of the devices used policies that enforced data security.
- 69% of the devices used policies that enforced device security.
- 66% of the devices used policies that enforced app security.
- 56% of the devices used policies that enforced network security.
In the My Devices community, the following statistics apply:
- 66% of the devices used policies that are enabled with data, device, app, and network security settings that enforced overall security.
- 72% of the devices used policies that enforced data security.
- 48% of the devices used policies that enforced device security.
- 50% of the devices used policies that enforced app security.
- 79% of the devices used policies that enforced network security.
