App security settings metrics

The App security settings metrics provide statistics that define which app security settings are enabled in the MaaS360® policies for devices that are managed by an organization.

The following security settings are provided in the App security settings generated report:
  • Configured Workplace Container
  • Approved (allowed) Apps
  • Restricted (blocked) Apps
  • Action on non-approved Apps

Viewing a generated report

The App security settings generated report shows the percentage of devices with secure apps in the MaaS360 Community and in the My Devices community. This percentage is based on the number of devices that use policies that are enabled with the app security settings.

To view an App security settings report, choose one of the following communities:
  • MaaS360 Community
  • My Devices community

In the following example, the App security settings metrics provide statistics on an organization in the Education industry that includes both a small and a large deployment of devices:

In the MaaS360 Community, all the devices (100%) enforced the Action on non-allowed Apps security setting to secure apps.
