Understanding data in the exported excel file
You can export policy configurations in the form of an Excel spreadsheet.
The policy configuration is downloaded as an Excel file to your local machine. The exported file contains all the policy details such as policy category, policy parameters, values of each parameter, and support matrix. Security teams in your organization can use this data for review and auditing purposes.

- The policy parameters with multiple values are merged and displayed in a single row.
- The policy parameters with multiple keys and the corresponding key values are merged and
displayed in a single row.
- If the policy parameter type is StructList (Group of related settings under
one parameter), then the name of the parameter and its nested parameter name are shown in the
parameter column. The symbol (→) is used to differentiate the parameter name from the nested
parameter name. The index number is used to differentiate the parameters in a list. For example:
Firewall Rules(1) -> Rule Name.
- The Tag/Device applicability column displays the list of supported devices for each policy
parameter.
Note: MaaS360 does not support importing policy configurations from an Excel spreadsheet into your
MaaS360 account.
