Tracking the status of a macOS update
Administrators can track and monitor the status of the OS update actions that are performed on a device or a group of devices.
After applying the Update OS-macOS command, you can monitor the status of the deployment in the IBM® MaaS360® Portal.
Follow one of these methods to track the status of the OS update action.
- From the IBM MaaS360 Portal home page, select .
- On the Groups page, click the More link for the group name and then click OS Update History.
- On the Actions page, the detailed view of the actions that are performed, and detailed information about the status of each action at the device level. The Action Log dashboard displays data for the past 6 months. For more information, see Tracking the status of scheduled action.
- From the IBM MaaS360 Portal home page, select .
- On the Device Inventory page, click the View link for a device.
- On the details page of the device, click the Summary drop-down and then
click History.
The page displays the information about various actions that are taken on a device in the MaaS360 Portal. The Details column displays the status of the OS update actions that are performed on the device.
