Setting app configuration precedence for Android OEM apps
Precedence allows administrators to control which configuration is used by the device when multiple app configurations are distributed to the device through different device groups.
A device can be elibible for multiple configurations of the same OEMConfig app, but only one configuration is applied to the device. When multiple configurations are distributed to the device through different groups, the configuration with the higher precedence is applied to the device. For example, precedence 1 is considered higher than precendence 2, and precedence 4 is considered higher than precedence 8. By default, when the first configuration is created for an app, the precedence is set to 1 and the count is incremented by 1 whenever subsequent configurations are added. For example, the precedence of the first configuration is 1, and the subsequent configurations will have precedence 2, 3, 4 and so on. You can always change the order of precedence based on your requirements.
