Directory sync for Microsoft Entra integration with MaaS360

Use this integration to automatically import users, groups, and group memberships from Microsoft Entra ID to the MaaS360® Portal.

You can configure directory synchronization for Microsoft Entra ID with MaaS360 by using the System for Cross-Domain Identity Management (SCIM) feature for the following scenarios.

Option 1: Migrating existing users and groups to sync from Microsoft Entra ID

If you already set up user groups in the MaaS360 Portal, importing the same or similar user groups directly from Microsoft Entra ID without following a structured migration process might lead to issues. For example, policies and applications that are linked to these groups might be removed from devices. This migration option helps ensure that group-based distributions are correctly mapped to Microsoft Entra ID groups in advance, avoiding any disruptions during the migration process. Option 2: Importing new users and groups from Microsoft Entra ID into the MaaS360 Portal

You can enable integration with Microsoft Entra ID to synchronize users and groups with MaaS360. This approach is recommended when no existing users or groups are present in the MaaS360 Portal that can be synchronized from Microsoft Entra ID.
