Devices by Ownership (UEM Overview reports)

The Devices by Ownership UEM Overview dashboard reports the total number of devices from all platforms that are enrolled in the MaaS360® customer account whose ownership is corporate owner, employee owned, or not defined. If the device ownership is not defined when you are enrolling the device, you can set the device ownership in the Device Summary page.

About this task

Use the Devices by Ownership dashboard along with the device ownership to obtain the chart data and the table data about the device platform and the managed status for enrolled tablets and smartphone devices in the customer account.

Procedure

  1. From the MaaS360 Portal Home page, click Reports > UEM Overview.
    The UEM Overview dashboard is displayed.
  2. Choose the type of chart that is used to view the Devices by Ownership dashboard. The available chart types are Bar chart, Pie chart, Line chart, or Area chart.
    For the Bar chart, Line chart, and Area chart, the x-axis represents the device ownership and the y-axis represents the devices.
  3. Click the Table icon (Reports table icon) to view the chart and table data for the report.
  4. Click Customize Columns to select the columns that are displayed in the table data. If you have not customized the columns, the table data displays the default columns.
  5. In the table data, apply the needed filters on the columns to sort the Devices Ownership dashboard. Use filters based on the platform, ownership, and managed status.
    The table data displays devices by ownership based on filters that are applied. The relevant chart data is displayed depending on the table data results.
  6. Click Export in either the chart data or the table data based on the type of dashboard that you want to export.
    The chart data exports the displayed graph as a .png file and the table data exports the displayed column results as a .csv file.

    The Devices by Ownership dashboard is filtered to display any enrolled devices that are employee-owned with a managed status of User Removed Control.

    Devices by Ownership

    The following data is displayed on the Devices by Ownership dashboard:

    • A total of four devices are enrolled in the MaaS360 customer account.
    • One of the four devices is listed for the filter that is applied to display devices that are employee-owned with a managed status of User Removed Control.
    • For devices that are enrolled in the MaaS360 customer account, only one Android device is employee-owned that is managed with the User Removed Control status.

    Note: In the Pie chart view for this MaaS360 customer account, 100% of the devices are employee-owned with a managed status of User Removed Control.
