Devices by Free Storage (Hardware Inventory reports)

The Devices by Free Storage dashboard reports the number of devices with free storage in the range of 1 to 5 GB, greater than 10 GB, less than 1 GB, or the 5 - 10 GB storage space. This report displays devices by free storage that are available out of the total storage for all devices that are enrolled in the MaaS360 customer account.

1. From the MaaS360 Portal Home page, click Reports > Hardware Inventory.
   The Hardware Inventory dashboard is displayed.
2. Choose the type of chart that is used to view the Devices by Free Storage dashboard. The available chart types are Bar chart, Pie chart, Line chart, or Area chart.
   For the Bar chart, Line chart, and Area chart, the x-axis represents the available free storage space in the range of 1 to 5 GB, greater than 10 GB, less than 1 GB, or 5 - 10 GB free space of storage on the device. The y-axis represents the device count. If you select the Pie chart, percentage values are displayed instead of the x-axis and y-axis.
3. Click the Table icon () to view chart and table data for the report.
4. Click Customize Columns to select the columns that are displayed in the table data. If customization is not applied to columns, the table data displays the default columns.
5. In the table data, apply the needed filters on the columns to sort the Devices by Free Storage dashboard. Use filters based on the platform, total storage, or free storage.
   The table data displays the available free storage on mobile devices based on filters that are applied. The relevant chart data is displayed depending on the table data results.
6. Click Export in either the chart data or the table data based on the type of dashboard that you want to export.
   The chart data exports the displayed graph as a .png file and the table data exports the displayed column results as a .csv file.

   In the Devices by Free Storage dashboard, hover over the graph to display the follwing reporting details:

   • A total of 914 devices are enrolled in the MaaS360® customer account.
   • 290 devices have free storage space of 1 to 5 GB.
   • 576 devices have free storage space of greater than 10 GB on the device.
   • 46 devices have free storage space that is less than 1 GB.
   • Only two devices have free storage space of 5 - 10 GB.
   Note: When the free storage space on the device is not reported to MaaS360, the reporting data for these devices is marked as Not Available.
