Setting up a Digital ID for your Entrust CA

Entrust uses the Digital IDs to define the format of the certificate that the Entrust CA issues.

The Cloud Extender® uses Web Services APIs to receive a certificate from a selected Digital ID. The Cloud Extender provides the values of the Subject Name and the Subject Alternate Name from IBM® MaaS360® for the identity certificates. For more information on how to create a Digital ID, contact your Entrust Administrator.

The following values are displayed for a Digital ID from Entrust IdentityGuard.
  • Subject Name displays a username, a group name, and a device type. Entrust uses any supported MaaS360 attribute for these values.
  • Subject Alternative Name displays UPN type and Email type.
