Enrolling an Apple School Manager (ASM) instructor device from the IBM® MaaS360® Portal

Follow these steps to enroll an Apple School Manager (ASM) instructor device from the Apple School Manager (ASM).

Procedure

  1. Go to Devices > Add Device and enter the user name of the instructor that you want to enroll the device to.
  2. On the device, go to Settings > Profiles > MaaS360 MDM Profile > Configurations.
    The Leader Certificate and the Member Certificate are displayed when the device is enrolled. These certificates define whether a device is an instructor device or a student device.

Results

The device is an instructor device if two Leader Certificates and one Member Certificate is listed:
