Information about using the IBM® MaaS360® Portal to customize the security that you use on your devices.

MaaS360 security policies overview
MaaS360 provides security policies for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows devices. These policies make sure that devices comply with corporate security policies and provide secure access to corporate data.
Using the security policies
All the policies that are created in IBM MaaS360 are displayed on the Policies page. From the List view, you can filter, sort, search, delete, or export the security policies.
Editing a policy in the Details view
IBM MaaS360 displays a complete list of policy settings in the Details view. From this view, you can edit policy settings, rename the policy, view policy version and status, delete the policy, or export the policy.
Creating a security policy in the IBM MaaS360 Portal
MaaS360 allows you to create and push security policies to devices in your organization.
Tracking the policy distribution status for devices
Administrators can view all devices that are in the scope for a policy and track the policy distribution status for those devices.

Bulk update policies is a process of applying the same policy settings to multiple policies simultaneously.

If a device is eligible for multiple policies of the same type through group-based assignments, policy precedence decides which policy must be applied to that device.

The Policy Files page displays the policy files (certificates, images, custom OMA settings) and policy settings for devices in the IBM MaaS360 Portal. Administrators can upload content files to policy settings and then apply those settings to devices with this policy.
