Getting started with the IBM MaaS360 Portal

IBM® MaaS360® is a comprehensive mobile device management solution for monitoring and managing smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices from a web-based portal. The IBM MaaS360 Portal supports portal administration functions, device management, software distributions, policy self-service, and device compliance functions.

Quick Start wizard

You can register for a 30-day trial of the MaaS360 Mobile Device Management solution on the IBM MaaS360 website at http://www.ibm.com/security/mobile/maas360.html.

After you register, the Quick Start wizard guides you through setting up your MaaS360 account and enrolling devices. For procedures on how to use the wizard, see Configuring the Quick Start for the first time.

Note: The account that you create as part of your trial continues into Production if you purchase MaaS360. You do not need to enroll the devices that you enrolled as part of your trial. You receive a Welcome email that contains important information about your trial. Make sure that you save this email in case you need to contact IBM Support.

IBM MaaS360 Portal login

After completing the Quick Start wizard, users can log in from the Log in to IBM MaaS360 screen. The IBM MaaS360 Portal Home page contains various customizable options for administrators to access and interpret critical information about their device inventory.

Tip: Users can also launch the Log in to IBM MaaS360 screen from Mobile security solutions by clicking Log in.
