Actions

Use the Action Orchestrator to schedule and track various actions that use both one-time and recurring options based on specific requirements.

For example, you can configure routine tasks, such as restarting a device to clear its cache, as nightly recurring events to help ensure optimal performance without the need for manual intervention. In contrast, you can plan operating system (OS) updates without the need for manual intervention and to ensure compatibility with existing applications. In such cases, you can have multiple orchestrations for different types of devices based on OS version it supports, distributed based on device groups.

MaaS360® can track the orchestration status at any point in time. It tracks the status of various event triggers, providing detailed insights into the devices that are impacted by each event and the status of those devices as they run the event.
