Importing user groups in bulk to the IBM MaaS360 Portal

The Bulk Import User Groups workflow allows administrators to import user groups into the IBM® MaaS360® Portal.

Before you begin

The administrator must enable user visibility in the Cloud Extender® and in Azure Configuration (if configured) before importing user groups that belong to the Corporate Directory.

About this task

Administrators can import user groups that belong to the Corporate Directory or the MaaS360 Directory.

1. From the IBM MaaS360 Portal Home page, choose one of the following methods to import a user group:
   • 1. Select Users > Directory. The User Directory page is displayed.
     2. Click More > Bulk Import Groups.
   • Select Users > Groups > More > Bulk Import Groups.
2. Select a group type:
   • MaaS360 Directory:
     1. Download the sample file.
     2. Browse and upload the file that contains the list of users that you want to import.
     3. In the Action section, select Add or Update, and then click Upload.
   • User Directory:
     1. Download the sample file.
     2. Browse and upload the file that contains the list of users that you want to import.
     3. In the Action section, select Add or Update, and then click Upload.
