Smart Device Group evaluation

Smart Device Group evaluation delivers device group processing near real-time, replacing the traditional evaluation cycle that can take up to 24 hours. When supported attributes are updated, the system automatically adjusts group membership and immediately enforces the corresponding policies, including app distribution, document deployment, and other device-related actions.

Use Smart Device Group evaluation when immediate updates or dynamic membership are needed. For instance, when attributes such as the operating system version, container type, or enrollment profile are modified, the system automatically initiates an evaluation process. This process helps ensure that policies, app distributions, and other associated actions are applied promptly, without the delay of the standard evaluation cycle.
