Branding options for iOS devices

Customize the options that are displayed to the user on their iOS device during device enrollment, on the IBM MaaS360® App, and on the App Catalog.

Note: The following sections use a sample company that is named ACME Corp and display all possible branding options that are customizable for the MaaS360 Portal. Each section provides an explanation of the branding option in the MaaS360 Portal and how the branding affects that option in the Portal.

Device Enrollment screen logo

The Device Enrollment screen logo is displayed at the upper right of the screen during the enrollment process.

Device Enrollment screen: Introduction page with steps

The Introduction page is the first page that is displayed to a user when they tap the URL for device enrollment. You can customize the upper right section of the page with any type of HTML or text-based content.

iOS Enrollment URL page (first device enrollment screen): The HTML or text-based content that is displayed as an introduction message on the first page of the Device Enrollment screen.

This device enrollment process configures your device for corporate access.

This steps outlined below will enroll your mobile device into ACME Corporation's MDM Program

Before you start, please have the following available to you:

- Enrollment Passcode : The passcode you have received in your ACME MaaS360 enrollment email

- Device Passcode : The device passcode you are currently using to unlock your device

- Corporate Credentials : Your Employee ID and password you use to login to your computer

- Apple ID : The Apple iTunes credentials

Enrollment steps include:

Click Continue.
Note: The customized logo and the customized support information are displayed on the screen.

Authentication: Corporate Authentication page

If your account is set up for Active Directory authentication or two-factor authentication, then users are prompted to enter their domain credentials for authentication. You can customize the instructions on this page.

Enrollment Credentials page for Active Directory or Two-factor Authentication screen (second device enrollment screen): The HTML or text-based content that prompts the user to enter authentication credentials for device enrollment. Use this field only if your authentication mode is set to Corporate Directory or two-factor authentication.

Authentication: Passcode Screen message

Customize the instructions on the Authentication page for the passcode.

Enrollment Credentials page for passcode authentication (second device enrollment screen): The HTML or text-based content that prompts a user for a one-time passcode. Use this field only if your authentication mode is set to a one-time passcode.

Provide the passcode from the enrollment request that you received in your email

Device Enrollment Completion

The last page that is displayed to the user when the user completes the authentication and installs the iOS MDM profile. You can customize any of the HTML or text-based content on this page.

Enrollment Completion page: The HTML or text-based content that is displayed to the user after successfully completing enrollment of the device. You can also customize app installation and email setup instructions on this page.

Step 4: Install Apps

Your device is now enrolled.

You may now see prompts to allow corporate apps to be installed on this device. Accept those prompts for continued access to corporate data and resources.

Your enrollment is now complete.

Your apps will now get downloaded and installed

  1. Accept any prompts that may appear to install applications pushed by the ACME App Store
    1. Use your Apple iTunes ID to sign in to iTunes if prompted
  2. Once the apps are installed, close this browser and open MaaS360
  3. Tap the Email icon and enter your Employee ID and password to configure email on your device

WorkPlace Home screen logo

The WorkPlace Home screen logo is displayed when you start the IBM MaaS360 App. You can replace the standard IBM logo.

  • Suggested image size: 640 x 166 pixels
  • Suggested image file format: PNG or JPG

You can customize the default label (Corporate Apps) that is displayed for nonpublic (enterprise) apps in the App Catalog.

App Catalog Welcome message

Customize the message that is displayed to the user when the user taps the Welcome to App Catalog feature tile.

App Catalog featured images

The main page of the App Catalog displays a series of featured tiles at the upper right of the screen that automatically scroll to display different tiles. You can customize the images for each of these tiles.
