Accessing a document in the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor
Follow these steps to access a document in the MaaS360® Mobile Document Editor app on your device.
- Do one of the following on your device to access the MaaS360 Mobile Document
The list of documents is displayed on the left side of the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor main screen. The document that you opened last is displayed on the right side of the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor main screen.
- Tap the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor icon in the MaaS360 app container.
- Tap the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor app icon outside of the MaaS360 app container.
Icon Description 1- Swipe Opens the document in AirDrop, the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor, or another app. 2 - Mail Forwards the document as an email attachment. 3 -Trash Deletes the document. 4 - Save Saves the document. If the document is already saved on the device, you are prompted to rename the file before you save the document again.
- From the list of documents, swipe left or right to display
tools to manage that document. When you first open a file, the document is in view-only mode. You can view, but not update the contents of the document until you switch to edit mode. To edit the contents of a document, see the procedure in Editing a document in the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor.
Option Description 1 - < Back to MaaS360 Closes the document and returns to the MaaS360 app container. 2 - Editor Displays the list of documents in the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor. 3 - Mail icon Sends the document as an email attachment. 4 - Trash icon Deletes the document. 5 - Pencil icon Edits the document. 6 - Save File icon Saves the document in the MaaS360 Cloud. 7 - Swipe icon Shares the document with AirDrop or a different app that is managed and deployed by MaaS360. To prevent corporate data leakage, personal apps are excluded from sharing.
The number of apps that are displayed is limited. Tap More, and then drag the available apps so that your preferred apps are at the top of the MaaS360 Mobile Document Editor main screen.
