Calendar Subscriptions
The Calendar Subscriptions settings allow device users to subscribe to public calendars.

The MDM payload pushes the URL for the calendar subscription (.ics file) and the user information to the device. The device user is prompted for a password to access the calendar.
The following table describes the settings that you can configure for calendar subscriptions on
an iOS device:

| Description for the subscribed calendar | The name of the calendar that is displayed to the user of a device. |
| URL of the calendar file | The URL that is used to access the calendar on the device. |
| Username for calendar subscription | The user name that is used to access the calendar on the device. This setting accepts variables or a fixed user name. |
| Use SSL to view calendar subscriptions | The device uses SSL to access the calendar. |
