Access point name (APN) settings
The APN settings configure the APN profile and APN settings on a Windows device.

| Connection name | Specify the APN connection name that is displayed in the Connection Manager. | Windows Phone 10+ |
| Connection type | Choose the APN connection type such as IPv4, IPv6, IPv4v6, or IPv4v6xlat. The default value is IPv4v6. | Windows Phone 10+ |
| Attach this APN as a aprt of LTE | Choose whether this APN must replace the APN from the mobile operator. | Windows Phone 10+ |
| Authentication type | Choose from the following authentication types for the APN profile: auto, password authentication protocol (PAP), challenge handshake authentication protocol (CHAP), Microsoft version of the challenge handshake authentication protocol version 2 (MSCHAPv2), or none. The default authentication type is none. | Windows Phone 10+ |
| Username | Use %username% or leave the field blank to use the enrollment information to populate the user's username. | Windows Phone 10+ |
