Setting an app configuration as default
If a specific configuration is not specified for a device through group-based or device-based distribution, the default configuration is automatically distributed to that device.
For example, consider a scenario where a company uses the Salesforce app to manage its business operations across multiple business units. The administrator creates three app configurations (C1, C2, C3) for the Salesforce app, with each configuration tailored to the settings required by a particular business unit. Configuration C1 is assigned to the B1 group, C2 to the B2 group, and C3 is set as the default configuration. When the Salesforce app is distributed to the device groups B1, B2, and B3, the devices within B3 that do not belong to either B1 or B2, receives the default configuration C3.
