Adding a public app for tvOS

Information about adding a tvOS public app to the App Catalog.

1. From the IBM® MaaS360® Portal Home page, select Apps > Catalog.
2. Click Add, expand the tvOS section, and then click iTunes App for Apple tvOS.
3. In the iTunes App for Apple tvOS window, go to the App Details tab and enter the following details.

   Option	Description
   App	The name of the app. When you start typing, MaaS360 automatically populates the entry with the corresponding public apps from the iTunes App for Apple tvOS.
   Category	The category of the app set by the app developer.
   Change Region	View apps from another region.

4. Select the Policies and Distribution tab and enter the following details.

   Option	Description
   Remove app on	The app is automatically removed in the following scenarios. MDM Control Removal: When MDM control of a device is ended by the administrator or a user. Selective Wipe: When a selective wipe is issued to the device. Deletion from portal or stopping Distribution: When the app is deleted from the IBM MaaS360 Portal or distribution to a specific distribution list is stopped.
   Revoke VPP Licenses on	The VPP licenses are revoked when distribution is stopped on a device.
   Distribute to	The devices that receive the app. Click the plus icon to add multiple distributions. In MaaS360, you can distribute an app to devices in the following ways. None: The app is added to the App Catalog, but it is not immediately distributed to devices. Specific Device: The app is added to the App Catalog and deployed to a specific device. Group: The app is deployed to a group of devices. All Devices: All devices receive the app. MaaS360 supports the following distribution options. Install Automatically: The app is automatically installed on the selected devices. This option supports both unpaid and paid apps that use the Volume Purchase Program (VPP). Retry app install on failures: The app tries to reinstall on a device if it fails to install in the first attempt. You can also set the number of attempts for the app installation when the initial installation fails. Send Email: Send an email to the recipient about the new app.

5. Click Add.
