Remote support for Android devices
Administrators can remotely assist Android devices that are managed by IBM® MaaS360® for troubleshooting purposes.
MaaS360 allows administrators to remotely view a device in real-time or remotely control a device by issuing mouse and keyboard commands to that device.
MaaS360 supports the following options to remotely administer managed devices:
- MaaS360 Remote Support app: Administrators can remotely view and control Samsung devices running 5.0 or later. Note: Remote View is supported on all Android devices. Remote view and remote control are not supported on Kiosk devices.
- TeamViewer integration: TeamViewer integration supports two modes of remote assistance: attended access and unattended access. TeamViewer attended access allows administrators to take control of devices based on user approvals. TeamViewer unattended access allows administrators to configure permanent access to remote devices without user intervention.
