Account Actions Control access right for Partner Administrators
Partner Administrators with the Account Actions Control access right can control the visibility of certain actions that are available on the Administrator Settings page in the IBM® MaaS360® Portal.
The Account Actions Control access rights control the visibility of the following
actions on the Administrator Settings page in the IBM
MaaS360 Portal.
- Extend
- Expire
- Rename Account
- Move
- Delete Account
- Add Account
- Convert
- Add Partner
To create an administrator with view-only access to the Administrator
Settings page, follow the steps.
- Create a role and then copy the access rights for the Partner Administrator role, excluding the Account Actions Control access right.
- Assign the role to the administrator.
The following actions are not affected by the Account Actions Control access right.
- Manage As
- View
- Export
The Partner Administrator cannot edit the following customer account details with the
Account Actions Control access right.
- Default language
- Default country
- Customer vertical
- Committed licenses
- Billing start date
The Partner Administrator cannot edit the following partner account details with the
Account Actions Control access right.
- Force admins to accept EULA
- Default trial period for customers
- Default language
- Email domain list for creating multiple accounts
- Default country
- Type of account allowed
- Customer registration schema
- Template visibility
- Maximum duration allowed for trial accounts (days)
- Threshold for enrollment notification through email
