Remove email configuration

Remotely remove the email configuration to block unauthorized users from accessing your corporate email account on devices.

This restriction helps to block unauthorized users from accessing the corporate email account on a device, either due to security concerns or when a device is lost or stolen. When the Remove email configuration restriction is applied, IBM® MaaS360® removes the email configuration payload and blocks access to the corporate email account on the device. You can revoke the Quarantine action when the risk posture of the user or device is improved. When the action is revoked, IBM MaaS360 re-installs the email configuration payload and restores access to the corporate email account.
Important: This restriction is supported on iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

IBM MaaS360 displays the notification, "Device Quarantined: your administrator has enforced restrictions on your devices due to a risky security posture" in the Settings page for Windows agent app.
