Information about the default access roles and access rights used for distributing OS patches and app updates to devices.
Read-only role and Administrator role
For these roles, you can only view patches in the Device Summary workflow and the Security workflow.
In the Device Summary workflow, the Actions column for Missing OS Patches and for Missing App
Updates is not available.

In the Security workflow, the Distribute links are not available.

Help Desk role
For this role, you can view patches in the Device Summary workflow and the Security workflow, but you can only distribute patches from an individual device view.
In the Device Summary workflow, the Actions column for Missing OS Patches and for Missing App Updates is not available.

In the Security workflow, the Distribute links are not available.

Administrator Level 2 and Service Administrator roles
For these roles, you can view and distribute patches from the Device Summary workflow and the Security workflow.
