TR31 Key Import (CSNBT31I)

Use the TR31 Key Import verb to convert a non-proprietary external key-block that is formatted under the rules of TR-31 into a proprietary CCA external or internal fixed-length DES key-token with its attributes in a control vector. Also, use the TR31 Key Import verb to convert a TR-31 key block to an AES or HMAC CCA key token.

Note:
  • This verb supports PCI-HSM 2016 compliant-tagged key tokens.
  • The ANSI X9 TR-31-2018 optional block, which limits the hash algorithm of the HMAC key, is also supported.
