Setting the value of blocksize

The default file system blocksize (256KiB) should be sufficient for most applications, although a larger blocksize can be considered if large files are being stored on the file system.

For the ECM scale-out study described in this white paper series, smaller and larger block sizes than the default blocksize have been tested without any influence on the reported transaction response times.

The default file system blocksize was used throughout the case study.
