A HiperSockets LAN can have up to five secondary Bridge Ports. You cannot configure a further HiperSockets device as a secondary Bridge Port unless the Bridge Ports role is withdrawn from one of the existing secondary Bridge Ports.

Assure that the Bridge Port role is withdrawn from one of the
existing secondary Bridge Ports before trying again to configure your
device as a secondary Bridge Port.
