What you should know about the z/VM recording device driver
You can read records from different recording services, one record at a time.
The z/VM® recording device driver is a character device driver that is grouped under the IUCV category of device drivers. There is one device for each recording service. The device nodes are created for you. If the z/VM recording device driver is compiled as a separate module, the device nodes are created when the module is loaded.
