Read important information about the usage and restrictions of libica library functions.

  • As of openCryptoki version 3.6, the C_SeedRandom() function of the ICA token always returns CKR_RANDOM_SEED_NOT_SUPPORTED.
  • If your system is running in FIPS mode, libica also runs in FIPS mode and only provides a FIPS-compliant subset of algorithms and key lengths. For example, all Brainpool curves listed in Table 1 are not supported in FIPS mode.
