WebSphere setup
For our tests, we needed to setup the WebSphere® dynamic caching services, enable servlet caching, and enable WebSphere as a server in a cluster.

To enable
the WebSphere dynamic
cache services we did the following:
- Opened the WebSphere Administration
Console from a browser window using
http://10/10/80/10:9060/ibm/consoleas the address - Navigated to the Dynamic cache service screen (see Figure 1)
Figure 1. WebSphere Administrative Console screen
- Verified Enable service at server startup was selected (this is the default setting)
- Set our cache size to 2000 statements
- Selected OK
- Saved changes to the master configuration
- Restarted WebSphere
