Cryptographic device drivers

The security part of Device Drivers, Features, and Commands describes the generic cryptographic device driver and the pseudo-random number device driver.

The generic cryptographic device driver (zcrypt) supports cryptographic coprocessor and accelerator hardware.

The pseudo-random number device driver provides user-space applications with pseudo-random numbers generated by the IBM Z® CP Assist for Cryptographic Function (CPACF).
